I’m Matt Henegar, the Co-Owner of RTR Construction, and my journey in the building industry began when I was 8 years old, tagging along with my father on job sites. Those early days were filled with hard work, swinging hammers and learning the value of craftsmanship. While my friends were off on summer vacations, I was immersed in the world of construction, gaining hands-on experience that would shape my future.
As I grew older, I launched my own tile flooring and custom shower business, which I ran successfully for nearly 8 years. This experience not only honed my technical skills but also taught me how to manage projects and deliver quality work to my customers. My journey then took me into mitigation and restoration work, where I learned the importance of helping families rebuild after loss. This naturally evolved into full-scale renovations and additions, expanding my skills and vision.
Today, I proudly build custom homes from the ground up, helping clients in and around Knoxville, TN turn their dreams into reality. At RTR Construction, we stand out for our commitment to quality and transparency. Each project is assigned a dedicated project manager, ensuring that our clients have a reliable point of contact throughout the entire building process. We prioritize open communication and have comprehensive standard operating procedures in place to guarantee consistency and efficiency.
